If you’ve been trying to keep up with the Sweet Soul expansion plans, you might be a little confused. There were rumors, there were pop-ups, and there was a concept called "Soulful."

Well, I checked the official locations page, and here is the tea: Sweet Soul is sticking to its roots.

The OG Spot: South Howard

Address: 1101 South Howard Ave, Tampa, FL 33606

This is the flagship. Themothership. The place where the "Blue Majik" flows like water.

Located right in the mix of the Ciccio compound (steps away from Green Lemon and Water + Flour), this is where you go for your acai fix.

The Hours:

  • EVERYDAY: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM

This schedule is actually pretty solid.

  • 8:30 AM: It’s a little late for the 6 AM workout crew (come on, guys, give us a 7 AM open!), but it’s perfect for the post-school drop-off crowd or the "I work from home and need a reason to leave the house" brigade.

  • 9:00 PM: This is the sweet spot. After a heavy dinner at Green Lemon or Jay Luigi, you can walk over here for a plant-based soft serve instead of going home to eat stale cookies. It’s the healthy nightcap we all need.

The Bad News: "Soulful" is Gone

If you see "Soulful" mentioned on old Yelp reviews or outdated blog posts, ignore it.

The website confirms: Soulful: PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

It looks like the experiment to expand the brand or try a spin-off has ended, and honestly? That’s okay. It just means the team is focusing 100% of their energy on making the South Howard location the best it can be.

The Verdict

There is only one place to get your "Don't Kale My Vibe" smoothie, and it’s on South Howard.

Don’t get lost looking for a ghost location. Plug 1101 S Howard into your GPS, find a parking spot (good luck, it's SoHo), and get your glow on.
